# Flora ReVive Dosage
### What is the dosing for Flora ReVive?
Take one capsule twice daily, one on waking and one at bedtime. Can be taken with or without food and is not affected by stomach acid.
### How do you use Flora ReVive?
Of course, we suggest you follow the label instructions for *Flora ReVive.* Please contact your healthcare professional if you have any other dosing questions.
Our Dr. Dean made the following comment on daily supplementing with probiotics since there is no RDA for this type of product:
It’s often been said that by religiously using antibacterial gels and soaps and disinfecting our produce, we are preventing ourselves from getting a good dose of dirt loaded with organisms. We are also depriving our immune system of creating necessary antibodies. We might not need to be so fanatic about hygiene if we grew the veggies ourselves, didn’t use conventional fertilizer, and closely monitored the growing environment. But the truth is, while the dirt on vegetables might be beneficial to our microbiomes, the abundance of pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals is not.
So, if you do not grow some of your vegetables and fruits, purchase them from a local farmer, or eat a diet predominately based on processed or fast food, supplementing with probiotics will improve your gut health.
### Can Children Use Flora ReVive?
Yes, typically, children would use a half dose of *Flora ReVive.*
When parents have opened capsules in the past (*ReAline* for example), they report that putting the nutrients in oatmeal or apple sauce works. You might want to try this yourself.
### Can Pregnant or Nursing Mothers Use Flora ReVive?
We cannot recommend Flora ReVive for pregnant or nursing mothers at this time. In order for us to be able to make such a recommendation, we would have to base our suggestions on clinical studies of S. Boulardii. Unfortunately, no such studies are available at this time. As always, we suggest you do your own research and contact your medical professional for help.
